With 15+ years of experience across 30+ countries in Africa, Europe, and the Americas, Dr. Tarawally works at the intersection of public policy, academia, media, and business leadership — leading large-scale projects and driving meaningful social change.
He is the Founder & CEO of the LAKE Group LLC, a U.S.-registered, African-owned creative powerhouse based in Silicon Valley, California, with proud roots in Sierra Leone — home to some of West Africa’s most iconic national and international event franchises.
He also serves as an academic Professor at Schiller International University (Florida) — the first American multi-campus university with locations in Spain, Germany, and France.
His path has been fueled by education: a PhD in International Relations (Italy), two Master’s degrees (U.S. & U.K.), an Honors Bachelor’s from Fourah Bay College, and a Diploma from GIMPA, Ghana — with a second PhD research project in progress at California University (expected 2027).
He is honored to hold the World Certification Master (WCM) — the highest credential from the London-based AHQSE — recognizing global professional excellence and ethics.
As the author of “African Brain Drain”—currently the highest-selling book by an African author on Amazon—Dr. Tarawally is passionate about migration, human capital, US foreign policy, and African development. His second book, “The New Architecture of Power,” arrives soon: a two-volume, 600-page guide that connects classical diplomacy with the challenges of our modern world.
