A Global Classroom Awaits at America’s Leading University

Dr. Alhaji K. Tarawally has been appointed as an Adjunct Lecturer/Professor at Schiller International University, one of the top international universities in the United States and Europe.

This exciting opportunity allows him to lecture and mentor both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Faculty of International Relations and Diplomacy at the university’s Tampa, Florida campus. In addition, he will conduct remote lectures for Schiller’s campuses in Spain, France, and Germany, engaging with a diverse community of students from 130 different nationalities.

Dr. Tarawally, fondly known as Laj-K, is committed to providing tailored academic and career advice to support students from various socio-economic backgrounds around the world. His goal is to help them achieve successful careers in fields such as foreign relations, governance, diplomacy, media, and multilateral organizations. He aims to create experiential and multicultural learning opportunities for his students.

Schiller International University has four campuses located in Paris, Madrid, Florida, and Heidelberg. Dr. Tarawally’s experience as a student at the Heidelberg campus was deeply impactful for him, and he feels that returning as a faculty member in the United States is a homecoming.

Eager to guide the next generation of global leaders and diplomats, Dr. Tarawally plans to connect historical theories to contemporary global challenges. He will also incorporate insights from his ongoing academic research into his teaching.

Two of his significant works include:

  • African Brain Drain: A recently published book that has become a best-seller on Amazon. This book examines the effects of human capital development, immigration, and U.S. foreign policies on African geopolitics.
  • The New Architecture of Power is an upcoming academic research textbook scheduled for release later this year. This 14-chapter book will serve as a modern guide to International Relations and Global Diplomacy.

With double master’s degrees, a PhD, and over 15 years of experience in social development and global communications, Dr. Tarawally has managed complex projects and created social impact across the United States, Europe, and Africa. He is dedicated to providing his students with authentic, hands-on learning experiences through real-world scenarios.
